There are a lot of great treks in Nepal, so many that if you will ask around you will be amazed of the alternatives. I, for one, prefer the treks around Kathmandu than those around Pokhara. I found them to be much smoother, yet challenging. But be careful! If you don’t have much knowledge and experience, it is better for you to join an organized party.
